Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Baltimore, Surrounding Areas

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ)- A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Baltimore and the surrounding area until Tuesday, February 10th.

The National Weather Service says with temperatures dropping into the low 20's -30's freezing rain is possible and could cause travel difficulties.

Motorists are advised to take caution while driving, as roads  may become slippery with limited  visibility.

Winter Weather Advisory: Frederick; Northwest Montgomery; Washington until Tuesday, February 10, at 3:00 a.m.

Winter Weather Advisory: Anne Arundel; Carroll; Central; Southeast Howard; Northern Baltimore; Northwest Howard; Southern Baltimore; Northwest Harford; and Southeast Harford until Tuesday, February 10, at 5:00 a.m.

Winter Weather Advisory: Cecil, Caroline; Kent; Queen Anne's; Talbot until Tuesday, February 10, at 6:00 a.m.
