Winter Blast Brings Snow Delays And Closures

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --The latest winter blast brings dozens of delays and school closures with snow making the morning commute difficult.

The winter weather advisory and warnings for the Baltimore metro region have expired but officials warn that roads may still be hazardous.

Salt trucks were out in full force throughout the night prepping the roads, treating them, and staying ahead of the storm.

Bands of the lightest snow are continuing to move out of the area. The snow moved in early this morning leaving many with some of the white stuff. Parts of the south saw as much as 4 inches of snow.

A winter storm warning remains in effect until 4:00 p.m for: Dorchester; Inland Worcester; Maryland Beaches; Somerset; Wicomico.
