Winning $1M Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Maryland

GREENBELT, Md. (WJZ)-- Maryland lottery officials say someone purchased a $1-million Mega Millions ticket in Prince George's County.

The lucky winner purchased the ticketed from Greenway Liquors located in the 7500 block of Greenbelt Road.

Officials say the winning ticket is the state's only $1-million winner.

No one in Maryland hit the $540 jackpot during Friday's drawing, but one lucky player in Indiana did.

The winning numbers are 8, 19, 20, 55 and 73. The Mega Ball number is 5.

"Our state sold 272,682 winning tickets worth prizes ranging from $1 to $1 million," said Maryland lottery officials.

Maryland's $1-million winner has 182 days to claim the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
