Wind Chill Advisory In Effect New Year's Eve Into New Year's Day

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A wind chill advisory is in place for 9 p.m. New Year's Eve, until 9 a.m. New Year's Day.

"You can expect wind chills at -10 to -20," said WJZ's Meg McNamara. "Hypothermia is going to be an issue, frostbite an issue. You really want to be bundled up."

The Maryland Jockey Club has canceled live racing at Racing at Laurel Park Jan. 1 due to the extremely cold temperatures. Racing was also canceled Sunday because of the weather.
