White Marsh Woman, 26, Killed Crossing Pulaski Hwy

WHITE MARSH, Md. (WJZ) -- A Baltimore County woman died after she was struck by a car while crossing Pulaski Highway in White Marsh late Wednesday night, according to police.

Just before midnight, the woman was crossing the roadway near where it meets Stevens Road when police say she was hit by a Honda Civic heading east on Pulaski Highway. There is no crosswalk at the intersection.

The driver, who has not been identified, stopped and stayed at the scene, according to police. The victim, identified as Tami Lee Somerville, 26, of White Marsh, was pronounced dead at the scene.

There's an ongoing investigation into the crash.
