Investigation Underway After Commercial Grade Firework Set Off Causes Damage In NW Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police are investigating after two people set off commercial-grade fireworks in an alley in west Baltimore Monday night.

According to police, two people set off the commercial-grade fireworks in the alley which created a fireball. It blew out windows on both sides of the alleyway.

Baltimore police said the explosion happened in the area of Fulton Avenue and West North Avenue.

The ATF, FBI and the Baltimore City Bomb Squad are continuing to investigate.

Officials have one person of interest in custody who they are questioning.

No charges are pending at this time.

Nobody was injured.
