WEATHER BLOG: Wintry Weather

An East Coast storm has brought messy weather to our neighborhood this morning.

Throughout the AM show, I saw reports of freezing rain, snow & plain old rain in spots across the region.

Winter weather advisories are in place and have been extended until 10 a.m., but the threat for wintry weather will quickly diminish shortly there-after.

Otherwise, we will be dealing with the rain & wind today.

A breezy Tuesday is on tap and that will likely make it feel even colder.

Highs today are forecast to top out in the low 40°s.

A few showers can be expected tonight and tomorrow, perhaps mixing in with a few snowflakes for areas to our north.

The winds will stay with us for the next couple of days and so will the clouds, but the overall trend will be to dry out as we head towards the weekend.
