WEATHER BLOG: Wintry Mix Coming

After a sunny, very dry and cool Sunday, the clouds are back, and precipitation is on the way. With temperatures so close to freezing and dry air still in place we do expect to see some frozen precip at times developing overnight. Some snow, sleet and some freezing rain is likely, especially just north of the beltway into portions of Baltimore, Carroll and Harford counties until the morning. A winter weather advisory is in effect for those areas overnight. Don't be surprised to see a small amount of the white stuff on the trees, lawns and rooftops by morning. The temperatures will be rising however, so we do expect to see an all rain event in most areas by mid morning and all afternoon. Tuesday will just be a raw, windy and wet day in all areas! Plenty of clouds will remain on Wednesday and a slight chance of a few rain or even snow showers is possible again.
