WEATHER BLOG: Winter Storm Watch

A winter storm watch will be in effect for later Wednesday night through the day on Thursday for almost all of Maryland! At this point, it appears that most of Central Maryland will be in a zone where about 4 to 6 inches or more can fall. In fact, a few areas may see as much as 8 inches or even a bit more! Temperatures that will peak in the upper 40s tomorrow will slowly fall to below freezing by Thursday morning, hence the snow. Very cold night again is on tap for Thursday night, and we can easily get to the single digits again! A cold but dry Friday and a warmer weekend are also in the works. So don't put away that shovel and ice scraper just yet!
