WEATHER BLOG: Winter Blast Causes Treacherous Conditions

A day long freezing rain and drizzle after a bit of morning snow ,has left a glaze on just about every object outdoors tonight. Wires and trees, steps and decks and sidewalks ,are particularly slick and ice covered. Most roads that have been salted are now just wet, but secondary streets and all untreated surfaces are icy and very slick!  Please watch your step if venturing out! The good news is that the majority of the precip. has ended and temperatures will slowly rise by morning ,and eventually reach near 40 degrees with some sunshine tomorrow!  There are already some delays being initiated for schools etc for tomorrow, so keep checking back for all those later on, and on cbsbaltimore.com
