WEATHER BLOG: Windy Conditions

As the rain moves out, it will be replaced by windy conditions and intervals of clouds and sunshine. Despite the sunshine, temperatures will be cooler, struggling to get into the middle 50s. Winds will also be gusty at times. Sunday will feature warmer conditions as winds shift out of the west and southwest. Highs on Sunday will push into the 60s with clouds and sunshine.

Next week looks like an interesting set up as a boundary will be nearby. Initially, early in the week looks warm with temperatures on Monday rising to near 70 with the boundary to our north. By Tuesday, the boundary will sink to south toward our region and winds will shift out of the east by late Tuesday night. Temperatures will be sharply colder by Tuesday night and Wednesday, mainly in the 50s, with occasional rain as waves of low pressure ride along the boundary. Note that temperatures will be highly dependent on where the boundary sets up.

Unsettled weather may even last through the end of the week and the boundary will likely remain close to the area.
