WEATHER BLOG: Widespread Rain By Monday

Change is on the way after a gorgeous April afternoon.

We will have to say so long to the abundant sunshine for your Monday.

This change is coming in the form of a storm system that will bring increasing clouds overnight and then widespread rain by Monday morning.

The rain will become steadier and heavier during Monday afternoon with rainfall totals generally around 1" across central Maryland.

The milder airmass will hold on just behind the storm on Tuesday with nothing more than a spotty shower and most areas remaining dry.

Cooler air will then arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday with highs in the upper 50s.
