WEATHER BLOG: Warmer Temps This Week

High pressure will shift off the East Coast tomorrow, turning our flow southeasterly. A warm front will approach from the southwest, bringing a passing shower and struggle to get through tomorrow night. We will finally break into the warm sector with southwest flow on Thursday. As we do, highs will near 70 degrees in central Maryland. A cold front will then move through the region late Thursday. Out ahead of the front, showers and some steadier rain will be possible with rainfall totals between 0.25-0.5 inches. Temps will drop again behind the front as the weekend nears.
