WEATHER BLOG: Warm Today, Cool And Refreshing This Weekend

T.G.I.F.

Hi Everyone!

Another Summer like day. Another day with temps in the low 90's, but like yesterday, nowhere near the record. This day's record high is 98° set in 1962. (Yesterday the record was also set in 1962.) Thunderstorms are already lighting up the radar over the Ohio Valley, and upper Tennessee Valley. That gives solid footing to the chance of t-storms this midafternoon through the evening. Widespread issues are not expected, but none the less  Bob, and Tim, will be watching this closely at 4,-5, and 6.

Beyond that issue a refreshing weekend lay ahead. Looks to be sunny but on the cool side with temps in the mid to upper 60's. A bit breezy at times tomorrow. But I think the word refreshing best defines the next 48 hours.

In the spirit of the Preakness weekend I think we can say the weather ahead of us is a winner.

T.G.I.F.,…ain't it the truth!
