WEATHER BLOG: Warm Start

Hi everyone,

This day started out warm and is going to get legit hot today. Eighty-seven is the forecast high later, and HUMID! (The record is 92 set in 1990, btw.) It now appears that as some really cooler air slices into this hot air mass, we could see some gusty weather later on. From our friends at Accu-Weather, "ANY thunderstorm this afternoon into early evening can produce wind gusts and hail." Pretty specific.

That new air mass will sink temps back to the low 60s tomorrow, the upper 50s Thursday and still the low 60s for Friday. (I think it is important to note the overnight lows will be quite mild, so if you have moved any plants back outdoors from a winter's inside "resting place," you should be OK.)
