WEATHER BLOG: Warm & Humid, Showers Likely

A more humid, but still pleasant Friday across the region.  Some showers did fall across western areas, but failed to reach Central Maryland. On Saturday, a very warm and humid day is expected, as our southwest winds will move a very sticky and hot airmass across the region during the day. We may get to 90 degrees or better, with a heart index even higher. Showers and a few thunderstorms are very likely to break out, and may contain some downpours as well. Cooler and less humid air will follow Saturday night and Sunday! Have a great weekend!
