WEATHER BLOG: TGIF

TGIF!!!

HI Everyone!

Skies are clearing, humidity is leaving, and THAT is the news. We may have clouds hang in a bit longer along the coast as the front that moved across the metro yesterday is slowing a bit near the ocean. But right now there is an equal chance of the frontal boundary moving far enough out to add some sun to that coastal mix.

Down in the tropics Danny is still a Cat 1 hurricane with winds of 80 mph. Still moving slow, West at 12, across the Caribbean. By Tuesday Danny, or what was Danny will be near Cuba. Not a lot is happening fast with this storm. And that is a good thing.

By late Sunday some moisture from the South will begin to flow North as an area of low pressure off of the Carolina's tries to take on some tropical characteristics but right now it does not appear to be a real forecast changer early next week for us.

And that's the news…er, ah weather!

TGIF…ain't it the truth!!
