WEATHER BLOG: Sunny & Mild

Hi Everyone!

Another sunny and mild day today. The melt moves forward. Brace yourselves for a bunch of rain coming our way tomorrow though. It might behoove you to clear away, if EVEN possible, snow from storm/sewer drains. We could easily see an inch of rain. By the way it will be windy, and really warm tomorrow too.  The forecast high is 63, the record is 66 set in 1932.

Pretty calm for the weeks end, and week end. And pretty mild too! Another nice weekend is that bottom line.

The internet is starting to get a bit flustered regarding another possible storm early next week. Here is the deal as the facts present it now. Next Sunday, and Monday a low will get its act together off the South Carolina coast. NOW KEEP IN MIND THIS IS SIX DAYS AWAY. The European model IS pushing it out to sea. While the G.F.S. is showing more 'phasing" between the North, and South, branches of the jet stream. And has rain, and snow, occurring over the Eastern third of the country. So far, though, it is the European model that has been the most accurate this Winter. We will be watching closely.

In the meantime enjoy an upcoming mild and calm weekend. And that IS the news.
