WEATHER BLOG: Soggy Saturday

A "simple" of case of cooler, wet weather behind the front that has now moved to the south. The front stalls with low pressure lingering close enough to the coast to have some moisture wrapped around... it will affect our weather perhaps all the way into Monday morning. That developing low will track right around Baltimore tonight. Tomorrow it gradually moves farther east-northeast and eventually away by Monday. Upward motion and a filtering in of cooler air could generate a rumble of thunder early tonight, but expect it to be more of a soaking heavy rain this afternoon into early tonight. There will be dry slots at points. Picking out the details of where heavy rain bands will set-up on the cold northwestern side of the storm tomorrow will be difficult to pinpoint. Potential remains for heavy rain at times tomorrow into tomorrow night before the low pulls away.
