WEATHER BLOG: Snow In The Fall

HI Everyone!

So I am driving into work today and I hit a deer. (Actually the deer hit me.)  Other than a broken right side mirror, the car, UNBELIEVEABLY, is fine. I did see the deer hobble off and I do hope it's OK. So where am I going with this? Simple, hopefully that will be the only bump I will have to deal with today. And so far so good!! The forecast is holding up, and there are, (as of now), no surprises. AND we don't expect any in this day's wintery forecast.

Speaking of which we are living a perfect George Carlin bit. Ya gotta hear his voice when you read this;…."So we have a Winter Storm warning. We have a Winter Storm advisory..but it's still Fall, how can we have a Winter storm?"

Hey if we couldn't laugh we'd just all go insane.

Snow will be a part of your Thanksgiving aft/eve..right now around the Metro it looks like a sloppy mess. 1-3 inches of slush. But having said that we will see snow lay on grassy surfaces. To the East side of the Metro, and then SE, just an inch of wet snow, and then just rain further SE toward the DelMarVa. (Clearly the big impact will be NW, and out the I-70 corridor.)

But no surprises. and that is a good thing.

Maintain an even strain, and enjoy the welcomed feel of "the season."
