WEATHER BLOG: Snow Falling

Snow falling tonight from a weak system passing across the region has left a slick coating to as much as an inch in a few spots. Partly cloudy skies will follow overnight. The weather stays dry and quiet Thursday and it will actually feel nice with a high of 37! Friday, a blizzard watch has been issued for the entire region beginning later in the day and continures until Sunday morning. We may see blizzard conditons on Saturday with gusty winds, blinding snow and white out condtions at times, as winds may gust over 40 mph here, even stronger at the Maryland beaches. A general one to two feet of snow is expected over many areas, with lesser amounts over the lower Eastern Shore. It looks to be a real monster storm if it all plays out the way it's appearing from all our models and current data. Please do stay tuned for further updates, as we will continue to monitor the storm's progress.
