WEATHER BLOG: Snow Coming

A cold weekend on tap! A quick moving area of low pressure with some rain and yes, snow will cross the region tomorrow. Although temperatures will rise into the low 40's eventually, it may be just cold enough for some wet snow to fall during the morning, especially in areas north and west of the beltway. The streets are warm, so any snow will only be seen on the grass and trees before it melts. Freeze warnings are in effect for later Saturday night as it may drop back into the twenties in many places. Sun returns on a breezy Sunday and it may reach 50 again. Winds will really pick up later Saturday, and gale warnings will be in effect on the bay as well. Stay warm! Bob Turk
