WEATHER BLOG: Snow Coming?

A short wave now moving into the southeastern states will spawn the development of a surface wave just off the southeast coast. That low will bring some snow to the region Wednesday morning. We aren't looking at a significant amount, but it's all about the timing. Once again, wintry precipitation will be moving in during the morning rush. The NWS has not issued any advisories yet but they have acknowledged that some may need to be issued this evening so stay tuned for those details. For now it looks like a coating - 1" of snow will be possible for the Greater Baltimore region. There will be more of a wintry impact for areas south, all the way into the Carolinas.
