WEATHER BLOG: Slushy Snow Coming Up

Hi, everyone!

Are you ready for some more snow? Meh.

OK, here is the deal. We have calm but cold temps Monday. The normals are 56/36, 40/28.

Tuesday we will see snow begin about 11 a.m. and end in the late afternoon. This will be a low impact event with 1-4 inches,  mostly on grassy surfaces. The roads could get slushy, but that is about all. The high will be 38 degrees. Tuesday night it will dip to 26 degrees, so watch for some slick spots on Wednesday morning.

When will it warm up? Not really until the weekend. This cold is getting old. March is usually chilly with normals in the mid-50s, but this one, so far has just been cold. Wednesday will be  38 degrees and windy. Thursday will be 50 degrees. But by Friday/Saturday: 61/60. Finally!

I would rather buy a Steelers' jersey and wear it than see more snow--of any type.

Wait, upon further review . . . :-)
