Severe Thunderstorm Watch Over For Baltimore And Surrounding Counties

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A severe thunderstorm watch is now over after strong and severe thunderstorms hit through Maryland Saturday afternoon.

There was a severe thunderstorm watch for Anne Arundel Co., Baltimore Co. and City, Calvert, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince Georges, Queen Anne's, Talbot & Washington Counties until 9 p.m. Saturday night. That watch is now over.

A cold front will pass through the area late Saturday night before dissipating to our south Sunday.

Another cold front will move into the area Monday and it will dissipate overhead Monday night into Tuesday.

High pressure will develop over the Atlantic for Wednesday before low pressure and its associated cold front possibly impacts the region Thursday.
