WEATHER BLOG: Saturday

As of early this morning, an arctic boundary extends from south/central Canada into northern New England. Multiple disturbances are riding along that boundary and will have an influence on the weather across the region this weekend into early next week. From Sunday into Monday, an upper disturbance of Pacific origin will move from the Great Lakes and into the Mid-Atlantic. This will spread of a mixed bag of precipitation to parts of the Northeast through Monday night. Mid and upper level high pressure will build in for several days thereafter, before an arctic front passes through the area on Thursday.
