WEATHER BLOG: Rainy Week

We saw a bit of rain this morning, but most of the afternoon has remained dry. We will still allow for a stray shower in spots. Tonight generally looks cloudy with little to no rain around the area. The best chance for a shower will be in the higher elevations of western Maryland. High pressure will continue to lose its grip on the region Monday as a front approaches from the west. Surface flow will still have an easterly component as strong warm advection sets the stage for a few spotty showers and increasing humidity into Monday night. By Tuesday morning, we will continue to see humid conditions and a few spotty showers with steadier rain possible by Tuesday PM.
