BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Rain on the way and a potential for a lot of it!

Low pressure over Kentucky is bring lots of southerly warm moist air northward towards the region, along with some thunderstorms as well.

Rain fall may easily exceed one or even two inches in places.

Cooler air will wrap around this system beginning on Saturday, and below normal temperatures are expected for the next 10 days!

Stay dry and warm Baltimore and Maryland!
