WEATHER BLOG: Plenty Of Sunshine For Memorial Day

Things are looking great in the near-term with plenty of sunshine for Memorial Day, and it will be quite warm as well across the region.

Fortunately, it will not be overly humid and a gentle afternoon breeze is expected.

We really couldn't ask for better weather to close out the extended holiday weekend.

High pressure over the mid-Atlantic will slide eastward Monday night into Tuesday as a broad upper-level trough approaches.

By Tuesday, with sufficient instability, pulse-type severe storms will be possible, but a widespread severe weather outbreak seems unlikely.
