WEATHER BLOG: Non-Blistering Summer Trend Continues

A pretty good weather week is coming up. Temperatures are normal until the week's end, and then it gets mild again. (BTW normal is now 86.) The trend of a non-blistering summer of 2014 continues.

There is just a mention of an aft thunderstorm Monday. It will be more of a reality Tuesday and Wednesday!

I don't want to jinx anything, but the week's end and weekend are looking really good right now.

As for Tropical Storm Bertha, she will go to a category 1 status sometime Monday. But all the modeling agrees she will swing out to see. We WILL though see some increased tides and rip current possibilities along the coast, so if you are there or going, mind those lifeguards for real!
