WEATHER BLOG: Nasty Combo

A nasty combination of sleet and freezing rain in many areas tonight, that followed the snow of earlier today. Overnight, a much warmer airmass will slowly advance across the state and produce plain rain and much milder temperatures. The rain may be heavy at times in the morning and a flood watch is in effect for much of Tuesday. With temps in the 50s, rain and melting snow could cause small streams to reach bankfull or worse. Things will dry out later tomorrow, and it will be windy as well. Drive and walk with care!
