WEATHER BLOG: More Heat On The Way

After another heat advisory in the metro today, strong storms developed across central Maryland. Even though the storms have brought a brief break from the heat, more heat is on the way tomorrow. Another heat advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service and goes into effect at noon on Tuesday for heat index values ranging from 105-109 degrees during the afternoon. Some lower dew point air should begin to work it's way in by Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures should return into the mid/upper 80s as we head into the weekend and start of next week.
