WEATHER BLOG: Moisture Will Linger Into The Night

Low pressure will continue to keep unsettled weather conditions across the region, but the worst of the activity will be closer to the coastline. This was feature that was once tagged by the NHC as a slight risk for development. So there is a good amount of tropical moisture from the system. The best of the moisture, of course, will be close to the coast; this is where the best of the wind will be as well.

This moisture will linger into Tuesday night as some drizzle, but the storm itself is moving away from the area being replaced by a weak area of high pressure.

Some clouds may lingering into Wednesday morning as well as some fog. This nicer weather will last into Thursday. There will be some thunderstorms on Thursday as well with a cold front moving into the region. Some of these storms could be strong containing heavy rain and gusty winds. This front moves through and it becomes cooler on Friday with high pressure building over much of the northeast.
