WEATHER BLOG: Mild Saturday, Snow By Monday?

Temperatures on the mild side Saturday with a gusty westerly wind, but temps fall through the day so there is a limit to the mild weather as a frontal zone will be slipping through.

High pressure is sliding southward through central Canada, then slowly eastward Sunday and Monday means we get back into the colder air. This front lays down to the south Sunday.

Models have been trending the bulk of the moisture more toward the south and there will probably be a fairly sharp cutoff from little to nothing farther to the north, a couple of inches in the immediate BWI area and south with potential for 4. That is kind of an "average" of the current models.
