WEATHER BLOG: Lucky

We've been watching a disturbance along the Carolina/Virgina coastline all day. The bulk of the precipitation with that storm has been bypassing Baltimore to the south and east today. This doesn't mean we'll escape without seeing a touch of rain altogether, but we were spared a direct hit from this one--something we've grown way too accustomed to around here.

It is a chilly day, with most temperatures no higher than the lower 40s. There should be around a quarter of an inch of rain along Maryland's Eastern Shore and there is also a stiff east to northeast wind.

As this storm begins to pull away from the mid Atlantic Coast tonight, some clearing should occur--albeit late. Tomorrow will be a milder day with temps in the low to mid 50s and then there may be a shower of rain or snow tomorrow night before Sunday is chillier.
