WEATHER BLOG: Light Rain Will Continue

A chilly light rain will continue across the region Monday with a few breaks at times.

Heavier pockets of rainfall can be expected this  evening, particularly for areas east of I-95 and southern Maryland.

General rainfall amounts will fall between 0.5-1 inch.

Temperatures are currently on the cool side, sitting in the low and mid 40s across central Maryland.

Highs Monday will approach the low and mid-50s, which is below average for this time of year. The average is around 62 degrees for Baltimore.

Rain will taper off overnight as we trend drier into Tuesday with winds shifting out of the west.
