WEATHER BLOG: Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hi Everyone,

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Wearing a little, or a lot, of Green is a wonderful change from the Gray's, Blacks, and Winter Whites the fashion world foists upon us, yearly, during Winter. Ok, I know…."It's SLIMMING!!" It is also dull. Time to add a little Spring color to our world. Should you choose to celebrate this day be safe, you would not want to miss Winters last gasp on Sunday.

"Say what???!???", say you?

Yep. Spring begins Sunday about 5PM, the first full day of the season is Monday. It looks like after a downturn in temperatures tomorrow we will go on, at least, a 4 day run of temps below normal. That has not happened in a while. And Sunday is going to be a Gray, wet, and raw day that might feature some wet snow blowing around, especially, in the late afternoon, and evening. The sun returns rather quickly after that with improving conditions Monday, and Tuesday. But we will still average 5-10 degrees below normal to start Spring. It looks like those Gray, Black, and Winter White clothes may, yet, see another day to paint the world dull.

Enjoy wearin' the Green today. And with the luck of the Irish we won't be too long in waiting to wear the bright colors of Spring again. SOON.
