WEATHER BLOG: Happy New Year!

Official high for the first day of 2015 checked is around 43 degrees. That's very seasonable for this time of year. Tomorrow will be slightly milder, but only by a couple to a few degrees as highs are forecast to reach into the mid 40s. Sunshine is expected to mix with clouds throughout the day as our next storm-system approaches the Northeast. Clouds will thicken up early Saturday and rain will overspread the region as early as Saturday afternoon and evening. Rain will continue into Sunday, but we will warm up a bit as a warm front crosses the region. Highs on Sunday are forecast to reach into the low 60s.
