WEATHER BLOG: Get The Rain Gear Out

Get the rain gear out. If you are made of sugar and will melt if you get wet, find a cave. Tuesday's occasional rain/drizzle is the overture to heavy rains Tuesday night and Wednesday. We also need to watch for the potential of severe weather later Wednesday.

All of this is from the same slow moving huge low that brought tornadoes to Oklahoma and Arkansas on Sunday, and 35 tornadoes to the southern states Monday.

Tuesday, the South and now areas through Kentucky and into central Ohio may see damaging weather. And that threat extends east to the Virginia/North Carolina border.

This is one heck of a storm.

Now for some good news.: the weekend looks nice. It'll be sunny Friday, Saturday and Sunday with temperatures right around 70. Now that's what I'm talking about! You will be, too!
