WEATHER BLOG: Front Drawing Moisture From Matthew Into Area

The heaviest rainfall this afternoon has been falling southeast of Baltimore City and this trend will continue into the overnight hours as a front continues to approach the region from the NW. This front is helping to draw moisture from Matthew into the area... especially into southern Maryland and the Eastern Shore.

Rainfall will likely continue through the early afternoon on Sunday across the Eastern Shore before tapering off. Conditions should improve more quickly here in central Maryland on Sunday through with increasing sunshine by the afternoon as high pressure builds in behind this front.
