WEATHER BLOG: Freezing Drizzle

Lingering patches of light snow and flurries can be expected into the afternoon, but the heavier snow has moved on out.

In general, most places will have little to no additional accumulation.

The issue overnight and into Tuesday morning will be the potential for some areas of freezing drizzle as moisture stays locked into the lower levels of the atmosphere and the temperature stays below freezing.

This could make for a few slippery spots during Tuesday morning's commute, but the rest of your Tuesday will be mainly dry with a good deal of cloud cover and highs unseasonably cold.

Highs Tuesday will only reach into the upper 30s/low 40s. The average high temperature for this time of year is in the mid-50s.
