WEATHER BLOG: Dry Evening

A weak upper-level disturbance has caused the cloudiness across the region this afternoon. Other than a stray sprinkle, we will remain dry this evening with the exception of some showers impacting portions of extreme southern Maryland and the lower Eastern Shore. We will average out with partly cloudy skies overnight as our winds shift more out of the south and southwest. this will allow the humidity to begin to rise. I think we will still be able to tolerate humidity levels tomorrow, but it will get downright steamy by Wednesday through the end of the workweek and weekend. The heat and humidity will make the atmosphere unstable enough to allow for a chance of a shower or t-storm each and every afternoon/evening starting on Wednesday.
