WEATHER BLOG: Dreary And Mild

Thursday has seen a few, spotty showers showing up on the regional radar. We can encounter these Thursday at almost any time, although most of these will occur early. It should take until very late Thursday afternoon or early night for some rain to make a comeback, and that is going to be associated with a wave of low pressure which will be cruising by to our north late Thursday night and Friday morning.

Again, just like Wednesday, the area which will most likely get the most rain Thursday night and early Friday will be located north of the Mason-Dixon Line, but we won't escape the rain entirely.

Also, there is going to be a front sweeping in from the west later Friday and early Friday night. So, how we see this scenario playing out is that there will be some spotty rain and drizzle between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday -- followed by a prolonged break in the action. And then showers and even a thunderstorm return to the area late Friday afternoon and early Saturday night. Therefore, Friday's temperature forecast is quite tricky, if it's not raining the entire time, 61 may not be high enough. Saturday will be warmer, that's for sure!
