WEATHER BLOG: Damp & Dreary

A damp and dreary stretch of weather is coming up for the next couple of days. Although some drying will work its way in from the north in the short term, tonight and tomorrow, that will never get much farther south than about the middle of PA. That's because the confluence zone will set up to our north and we will stay in the moist zone, being influenced by the surface low not too far from us, and also the upper level low now swirling away in the Tennessee Valley. Not only will it be overcast and dismal here, but it will also be on the cool side. We actually tweaked this afternoon's high down to 62 from 64. We will have to examine our temps over the next few days very carefully. It is possible that we are too high, especially on Thursday.
