WEATHER BLOG: Cooler Temps Coming

The long range forecast will give way to a more tranquil and cooler forecast. For now, we have to settle for the unseasonably warm temps along with humid and unsettled conditions. A back-door cold front will travel our direction as we start the work-week before dissipating. While the front will eventually push all the way back to the baltimore area and the winds will shift more to the southeast, no cooling is expected as the marine air will remain well to our east… this means that another warm & muggy day will be on tap Monday with highs in the mid 80s with a few showers and a t-storm possible. On Tuesday, a separate front arrives from the west bringing the threat for more shower and t-storm activity. Cooler and drier air will arrive behind that front by the middle of the week.
