WEATHER BLOG: Cooler Day Friday

A series of showers and storms across the region today that brought a variety of wind, heavy rains and even some small hail has finally cleared out. Friday will be a cooler day with a good amount of sun, but another quick moving system will bring clouds and some showers by later at night. As colder air filters in early Saturday morning, some snow may also mix in, especially across northern areas. Some slush may actually accumulate on grassy surfaces for awhile, before it melts. Clear skies on Saturday night will allow temperatures to fall below freezing again, but the sun on Sunday will help us to warm up a bit to the low 50s. A much bigger surge of warm air is on tap for Monday! Have a nice weekend.
