WEATHER BLOG: Cold Has Arrived

The cold has arrived and it appears it will stay a while. This weekend will run anywhere from 10 to 15 degrees below normal for this time of the year. By Sunday night clouds will increase, but it will stay above freezing. Rain will be around on Monday, but it too will stay above freezing. The coldest air of the season will move our way after the rain moves out later Monday evening. Some snow is likely in far Western Maryland, maybe a few leftover snow showers could be as close as our far NW suburbs. That cold air will be felt here on Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs only in the mid to upper 30s before we begin some moderation by the end of next week!  Stay warm Maryland! Bring those pets inside as well!
