WEATHER BLOG: Cold And Windy

Well, now an arctic airmass is moving into the region tonight. It was accompianed by some snow showers in some spots. The most snow locally fell across northern Carroll County, where .04" was reported. There was a trace at BWI-Marshall, by the way. Colder air and winds in excess of 25 to 30 miles-per-hour dropped wind chills into the teens and even lower overnight. Tomorrow, sunshine returns, but a cold breeze will keep temps from rising to only about 30. A big warmup is in store for the rest of the week, as we approach 50 again by Friday and Saturday. Wintry now, but not for long. Stay thristy, my friend!
