WEATHER BLOG: Clearing Now

Clearing now as all the rain has moved out of the region, and now we are in with the warmest time of the day and plenty of fog has formed. The temperatures reaching into low and mid 50s with the cold ground that has produced plenty of fog, so we have a dense fog for many areas of center Maryland until 7 a.m., including the flash flood warnings that are still in effect for Frederick, Carroll and Montgomery counties. A flood watch remains in effect, although I think that will be lifted shortly as I rain has moved out. And tomorrow we will see the sun return, but it will still be mild again with temps near 50. More sun is expected this weekend but there is a chance we could see some more wintry weather by late Monday or Tuesday. Stay tuned for updates on that over the next few days.
