WEATHER BLOG: Calm and Warm Weekend Ahead
Hi Everyone!
Fog is starting to burn off and the afternoon "should" be a warm one. The forecast high of 80° is dependent on getting a solar kick before Noon. I think we are on that path. Overall a calm day. But a frontal boundary sliding across the area, this evening, has put a shower or a thunderstorm, in the forecast, from dinner to bedtime. Clearing overnight.
We end the week and start the weekend WARM. And calm. SWEET! Saturday's forecast high of 88° will not only be the hottest day of the next five but, potentially, a record tying one too. The rec for the day is 91° set in 1974. Let's see how close we, officially, get. (I say officially because a few car thermometers will hit 91°. But all that counts is what the mercury tops out at BWI- Marshall.)
The NFL draft begins tonight. Talk about things heating up!! Hmmm doesn't feel like football season right now.
